01Mechanical Properties Laboratory

Quality set from the start of production to the final bundle

With the help of its modern laboratory, Maihan Steel determines the chemical composition of its steel, and its advanced rolling machines adjust the required quality from the beginning of the production process.

At the end of production, before bundling, an advanced Universal Testing Machine at the factory performs mechanical-properties testing — including tensile and bending tests — in accordance with ASTM A615 and ASTM E8. Products are released only after their quality is confirmed, so the factory can guarantee the quality and grading of what it ships.
